My honest review of Molina’s Cantina The staff: The staff members were very friendly The atmosphere: Feels like I’m sitting at my own kitchen table, that’s hard to pull off. The service: Average speed, which isn’t bad The food: I had the Tacos Al Molina (chicken), refried beans and rice The tacos are pretty good, the meat was tender and the taco was warm, wish the dish came with refried beans and rice though, but I ordered them anyways and they where both pretty good, beans where a bit thinner for my liking but it’s not bad! My final verdict: really good Mexican place, also try out some of the other foods!

The chicken fajita is my favorite choice! Its tender and full of flavor. The mango margarita was a little on the rough end. Recommend to upgrade from the house tequila in the mango margaritas. Dinner service was not busy and plenty seating. Fresh flour tortillas were perfect!

Love the service and the food. Not only was the food good, but I liked the combinations of the plates. I will be back. I've been to multiple Molinas and by far this is the best one in my opinion.

We dropped by here on a Friday after a multi-year hiatus. Staff was welcoming and professional. We got seated quickly and the chips, salsas, and water were brought out just as fast. I liked that our waiter knew the drink menu and what was available at the bar. The margarita hit the spot and, whew, I could only drink one cause...wow. Mexican food sometimes isn't photogenic, but it was very tasty. The seating area is huge but also cozy and there's a big parking lot. I thought the food was reasonably priced. I'd rate as one of the better Mexican restaurants in town.

Molina’s hit it out of the park with their new cantina in bustling Fulshear, Texas. Our extended family has been devotees of all of the Molina’s restaurants over many, many years and we were super excited for their outpost in our neck of the woods to open. We weren’t quite sure what to expect of the new facility opening as it did in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic but we should have known the experienced Molina’s clan would have matters well in hand. The limited Grand Opening featured a smattering of their usual delicious Tex-Mex dishes served by a friendly, competent wait staff (we know the owners of Molina’s consider their staff – some of who have been with them for decades – like family and it shows in how hard servers, cooks, kitchen staff and managers work to make customers feel welcome). Since then we have returned with various friends & family a handful of times and on each occasion, we have had not only the terrific Tex-Mex food for which Molina’s is well known but superb service coupled with a fun and festive atmosphere which made for an all-around amazing dining experience each and every time. The new facility is beautiful and spacious with a charming patio. The busy & spotlessly clean kitchen can be seen from the main dining area as well as the bar which has a pleasing combination of tables and booths. The attractive and well stocked bar is on the opposite side of the building from the main dining room which allows diners to choose between a “date night” or a “family friendly” experience. The decor throughout is just lovely with the historic family photos and the entryway chandelier being of special interest. The food – as in all of the Molina’s locations – is delicious and well presented. Fresh, hot tortilla chips with two types of homemade salsa are brought to the table immediately upon your arrival (order the famous Jose’s Dip to accompany them). The dining and drink menu is extensive but we highly recommend the hearty William’s Special or the Mexico City Dinner coupled with a frozen or on-the-rocks margarita (a refreshing and perfectly mixed margarita is a Molina’s specialty). Of course, even “ordinary fare” such as a fajita dinner is terrific, too, and the tortillas for every dish are always plentiful and hot! Oh, feel free to make substitutions or ask for something extra – the staff is very accommodating. We love Molina’s (as have countless others, including U. S. Presidents, over the family’s long culinary history in Houston) but their new location is really something special! If you haven’t been, “¿Que te detiene? ¡Ve ahora!”

Best Mexican restaurant ever! They have amazing service and always make sure you are refilled with drinks and chips. They have 3 standard kinds of dips that come as an appetizer included with your meals when you arrive and they are so good. I ordered the grilled fish tacos and they are amazing. I highly recommend this dish perfect size and flavor. Our server Natalia was great. The staff is very friendly and the experience here is great! 1000/10
